Perfect for Airline Travel
I've purchased two of these, one was a recent gift and the other I've had for over a year. I'm an airline pilot and my MacBook Air travels with me everywhere. This case provides perfect protection from other items thrown in my suitcase, briefcase or backpack and It can be left on when I send my Air through the x-ray. It's light, has a very low profile and fits the Air snuggly almost like a second skin. Although it's open at the top, the fit is so snug there's never been an issue or worry about the Air falling out. These cases primarily provide protection from dings and scratches caused by other items while riding in a bigger bag and they do an excellent job of this. If you're looking for protection from drops or more severe impacts look elsewhere or use another bag to carry this one in as I have. Despite heavy use the case shows no wear whatsoever. I was afraid the stitching would start to unravel over time but it still looks brand new. The only issue with my most recently purchased case is an extremely pungent rubber smell, like a new tire. I'm assuming this will dissipate over time but if it doesn't pretty soon (it's been in use for just over a week) I'll probably need to send it back. Overall, assuming the smell is an anomaly, this is the perfect bag for my use and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

I have the green colored case. It is excellent in terms of material construction and look. I wanted a slim look and this was perfect for it.

I am absolutely delighted with this slip-case for my MacBook Air. The product description is 100% accurate, so I there is no need to be redundant. This case couldn't be any better if it had been designed by Apple, which I consider the highest form of praise!
