    really wanted a simple envelope style case for my 3rd generation kindle, but couldn't find anything so I bought this. it is a little bit narrower in the width than the 2nd generation so it isn't quite perfect, but to be honest, not very noticable. overall it functions great for what I was looking for and is a great case for protection while not bulking up on the size benefits of having a kindle.
